Hedgewood Receives 3 BALA Awards
Hedgewood Properties is the proud recipient of 3 BALA Awards (Best in American Living Awards) presented by the National Home Builders Association at their annual gala in Orlando, Florida in February. The BALA awards are the country’s foremost design competition for residential housing. Vickery was honored as “Best Suburban Smart Growth Community” by the National Home Builders Association and Professional Builder Magazine, recognizing Vickery for exemplifying the principles of smart growth and quality design with strong market acceptability. The Northumberland model in Vickery received a platinum design award for Best Single Family Detached Home 3,001 – 4,000 square feet. This innovative home featured reclaimed terra cotta roof tiles from France, an outdoor courtyard with fireplace and an artist’s studio or guest suite above garage. The Woodstock Downtown “Founders Mill” model won a silver design award. This 3 story home showcases high style and design while offering comfort and convenience. It demonstrates a creative view on livability and can be enjoyed by young and old alike.
